The Development Alternative

"The Development Alternative" by Sophia Sanchez

This book focuses on critical aspects of worker development designed for business leaders responsible for bottom-line business objectives. The overall goal is to help these organizational leaders get the results they want through their most valuable business asset: The employees. Reviews: "Must read for any manager, supervisor, or HR staffer!" This is a great read! So many of these types of books are too verbose and usually I end up forcing myself to just "get through", while not gaining anything. Sophia Sanchez gives her readers solid advice and sound practices to increase production and evaluate the quality of employees. Every manager should read this as it really helps you "see" who your employees really are. ~ Amazon Customer "Helped Me with My Sales Team" As a manager of a large sales team, this book has helped me develop the team into a goal-oriented approach and has also helped the camaraderie between the team as they do not feel like they are competing against each other more than they are helping one another. Recommended for any manager or sales team leader and above who need motivational ideas to help employees. ~ Ryan Reynolds

Reviews: "Even better than her last one!" Girl Vs. is a fun ride on the apocalypse train. It's a bit dark, but the characters are rich and vibrant. ~ Benreece "Loved it" I find this book to be extremely engaging right from the start and is very character driven. You are prepared in order to take the journey alongside the characters like you are experiencing their lives with them. I find this is down to the passion in which this author writes. Science fiction is generally a take it or leave it genre for me. I'm very picky about which books I read that include this. I found this novel to be one of those books that I can read that doesn't feel overly done. It concentrates more on the characters lives rather than the world around them which i love. Very highly recommendedAmanda

Reviews: "Powerful Lesson" A realistic glimpse inside the world of a kid looking for answers in an insane world. I really like this story because it is excruciatingly sad, but also gives hope and leaves the power for hope with the individual. That is a VERY powerful lesson. ~ Bobbie Pennington "Great read! The resolve experienced by the end of ..." Great read! The resolve experienced by the end of that part of his journey was inspiring. Great insight to the Psyche of a tormented young man..
