The title story of the book “November Asteroid” is a murder mystery set on a star-ship asteroid on a seven-year voyage. A veteran detective is called out of retirement to catch a killer and in the process stumbles upon a disturbing new technology.
“Reparation” the second story features a space war veteran hijacking a star-ship in order to make amends to a fallen comrade. The next story “Jack Stone” concerns an old ex-convict recruited by an old friend to smuggle an alien artefact. “The Last Astronaut” tells the tale of a man on Mars discovering his fellow astronauts have simply disappeared.
The final story is “We Knew You Were Coming” a tale of three crew members waking from suspended animation to find their star-ship has travelled far further than they had intended.
