The meaning of doing the Right Thing in politics is to do what is best for the well-being of society. This however is not the case. Governments are authorized to exercise political power according to their will without the obligation to account for it. As a result, State officials enjoy the freedom to commit political crimes against their people without ever been scrutinized, taken to court or get punished for their actions. This needs to stop. This work explains the institutional changes necessary to put an end to this so that citizens become the bosses of their Governments.
