What is the Keto diet you are probably wondering? Keto or ketogenic diet is a type of diet that restricts the intake of carbohydrates and promotes higher intake of fats. Although this may sound odd and contrary to all you have heard, carbs are our enemy and because of them we usually get that not so cute belly. Additionally, latest scientific studies have shown that Keto diets help with weight loss but also keeps the blood sugar on right track, because fats have no effect in blood sugar and insulin levels.

When broken, these molecules are absorbed in blood stream, these molecules are known as glucose or blood sugar.

If glucose is not used it is turning into fat.
The idea behind the low-carb diet is a reduction of carbohydrates which turn into glucose and potentially in body fat. If carbohydrate levels are lower, insulin will decrease and therefore your body will be forced to burn the stored fat for energy which results in a slimmer figure.
