Raw Material
Poems on Love, Ruin, and What Remains
Raw Material is a debut collection of poems about love in its most honest form, not the curated version, not the algorithm's version, not the music video's version, but the real thing, in all its warmth and wreckage.
These poems move through heartbreak and desire, through the bodies that remembered us and the ones that forgot, through the waiting rooms and the carnivals and the parks and the doorways where love arrived and departed without sufficient explanation.
They ask uncomfortable questions about trust, about standards, about what we have done to the most important thing a human being is capable of, and what it costs to choose it anyway.
This is a collection for anyone who has ever loved completely and survived it, and for anyone still deciding whether the surviving was worth the loving.
It was.
